Last Word ( M.J. Garrett )

My mind has become twisted with enlightened reality
Thoughts so provocative and visions of blooming hypocrisy
I have the urge to wake and assume my history
Jagged pills of past mistakes have never gone down so easily
I could fly so high with misguided fury
So tempted to learn about the metallic taste of my misery
Beautiful to some has become so rigid and fake
Beauty to me is flawed honesty mixed with your worst mistake
Create a world worth loving that bends it’s rules for religion
I will find a way to kill your spirit or at least blame me for your decision
Forgiveness comes when blood has been spilled
So I’ll paint the walls with mine and hope your soul is thrilled.

DAME OF RAIN ( Pretty Girl Poem )

From the edge of a lush green precipice,
Amidst the melody of singing breeze.
There in waltz, rhythms lovely dame
Of the rains, in the vast sky wide fame.

Caressing the hills with a gust of raining cloud,
And whip rushing rivers that thirsty earth allowed,
For the earth is aroused with seeds inside
Of life, to greet the thrill with her rainy touch beside.

Breaking into a tango with the golden drops of dew,
Born out of the sky’s basket weaved in rainbow hue,
At the gates of the earth in a misty waltz gown;
With might of her smiling tears water lilies drown.

Sun and Moon lost behind her aura that pulsates,
When sinister desert for her presence meditates,
Gifting the greenery of the oasis as blessing,
World rejoices along with her watery anklets ringing.
